Một ý tưởng thú vị khác từ Larry Niven. Tôi không đánh giá cao tất cả các yếu tố "con người".

Mercy seems to be the original trouble magnet. This book starts with the same scene that the last book ended with, only it wasn't what either I or Mercy had hoped for. But she has made her choice, she loves Adam. She just doesn't want to be the cause of more trouble. When Stefan is dropped in her lap, as nearly permanently dead as vampires get, Mercy know that her trouble is just beginning. With the vampires after her she decides getting out of town to help an old college friend with a ghost would be just the ticket. It isn't. The plot isn't quite as tight in this book but I liked that Mercy didn't recover from her rape and brutalization immediately. Her panic attacks were real but she's also strong. We'll see if I can hold off owning this until the paperback edition.
